Ingredients

  • ½ cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup rolled oats
  • 1 egg
  • ¾ cup Sanitarium So Good Lite Soymilk or low-fat dairy milk
  • 2 tablespoons margarine, melted
  • Extra margarine for cooking

Method

  1. Sift flour, baking powder, sugar, salt into a mixing bowl and mix in rolled oats. Make a well in the center of dry ingredients.
  2. Mix egg, milk and margarine together. Pour into well and stir gently to combine ingredients.

  4. Place ¼ of a cup of mixture in a moderately hot non-stick frypan.
  5. Cook until bubbles form, then turn and cook for a further 1-2 minutes.
  6. Serve with maple syrup and fruit.
